According to the Wednesday, September 18, 2024 Guardian article, South Carolina is on track to execute a man on death row for the first time in 13 years, despite new evidence raising doubts about critical testimony used to secure his conviction.

Allah, 46, is scheduled to be killed by lethal injection on Friday, one of six executions that could move forward in the coming months in South Carolina, marking a brutal resurgence of capital punishment since the state’s last execution in 2011.

Allah, previously known as Freddie Owens, was convicted of armed robbery and the murder of a store cashier named Irene Graves in 1997, when he was 19 years old. He has long argued that he did not shoot her, and the state’s key witness alleged in an affidavit last month that he made false remarks at the instruction of prosecutors during the trial.

The Right Most Rev. Anthony Evans, President of the National Black Church Initiative, says, "It is the chief job of Christ's church to preserve life-we are doing our job.”

The text of the letter from Rev. Evans reads as such,
“The Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ asks you in HIS name to have mercy and Grace in the case of Mr. Khalil Allah, formerly Freddy Owens. God has given you the power to His will, not the state's. 'Thou shall not kill', as the Holy scripture says.

As President of the National Black Church Initiative, a coalition of 150,000 Black churches, I beg you in Christ for the life of my brother Khalil Allah.

New evidence and a recanting witness raise severe doubts about his guilt, but the state is still rushing to execute him. The key witness for the prosecution has come forward to say he lied, and the State of South Carolina will put to death an innocent man.”

A second Guardian article dated Thursday, September 19th, elaborated there was no forensic evidence tying Allah to the shooting. The state’s central evidence against Allah was testimony from his friend and co-defendant, Steven Golden, who was also charged with the robbery and murder. Two days previous, Golden came forward with an explosive affidavit, stating that Allah “is not the person who shot Irene Graves” and “was not present” during the robbery. Golden said he concealed the identity of the “real shooter” out of fear that “his associates might kill me”, and that he was coming forward now because he wanted “a clear conscience”.

“I don’t want [Allah] to be executed for something he didn’t do,” he wrote in the new affidavit. Khalil Allah, has always maintained his innocence.

NEW YORK CITY, Sept. 27, 2024 /PRNewswire/ - As world leaders are meeting in New York for the United Nations General Assembly, findings of the African Youth Survey 2024, the most comprehensive research into Africa's youth, reveals that China and Russia are winning the war for the hearts and minds of Africa's youth, a critical demographic for the future of the planet, as Africa is increasingly finding itself as a proxy for conflict between East and Western powers.

Published by the Ichikowitz Family Foundation, a leading African NGO, the recently launched African Youth Survey 2024, provide unparalleled insights on how Africa's youth regard the role of global powers, in view of Africa's growing global significance and the reinforcement of multiple poles of power in the world order that have diversified Africa's pool of potential international partners.

The findings arrive as a clarion call to the UNGA's 'Pact For The Future,' serving as a critical input to the Summit of the Future's quest for groundbreaking interventions. With a laser focus on the Global South and the urgent necessity to meet Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Africa's youth are unapologetically asserting their influence, demanding that their continent's leaders seize the reins of their own destiny.

Foreign Influences

The Survey reveals that China has been ultimately seen as the most influential global power, and in fact, the most beneficial global power (76 percent say it has influence while 82 percent call the character of that influence positive), followed then by the United States (70 percent influential: 79 percent positive influence).

The EU's influence has declined from 72% (2020) to 59%, the United Kingdom is down from 64% in 2020 to 56% and France has dropped from 58% (2020) to 51%.

72 percent of youth polled suggest concern today about foreign influence on their countries and Africa as a whole, reflecting a greater awareness of Russia's rising role.

Ukraine-Russia War In The Eyes Of African Youth

Russia's influence in Africa has risen since 2020, with 41% suggesting it is a leading foreign influencer on the continent, and 68% suggesting that influence is positive.

Indeed perceptions of Russian influence have spiked markedly in several African states since 2022 – notably in Malawi, where it rose from 14 to 49 percent, and in South Africa, where it grew from 34 to 57 percent in the same two-year period.

Directly or indirectly, these shifts trace back to its war against Ukraine, as more than half (57 percent) of those who have a positive view of Russia say it is because they are providing grain and fertilizer, and this is an area in which it has forcibly displaced Ukraine – a historic supplier to Africa.

The question of who is to blame for the Russian-Ukrainian War is also mixed, as more than two-thirds – 68 percent – of respondents believe Russia's war in Ukraine could have been avoided, yet surprisingly, nearly a third (32 percent) lay blame for the war at the feet of the U.S., NATO and the EU.

Only 23 percent specifically say that Russia is to blame (another 21 percent say all actors share blame).

"Let's be clear—Russia's influence campaign is not only deliberate but effective. Africa is now the frontline of a struggle for global influence, and the youth are the prize," warned Ichikowitz. "Our leaders must wake up to this reality and protect the sovereignty of the next generation. This is not just about land or resources; it's a battle for the very soul of the continent."

Yet despite high levels of concern about the influence of foreign powers, African youth do not want their leaders to shy away from the global platform - When asked what the main priority for national leaders should be, youth are looking to their leaders to balance both international and domestic issues – nearly half want the focus to be on addressing domestic matters (45%), while the other half are split between increasing their country's regional influence (23%) and expanding their country's influence on the global stage (29%).

However, regardless of where youth want their leaders to focus attention, there is clear confidence in the ability of African leaders to influence issues on the global stage with two-thirds (64%) agreeing.

WAVES 2024 brought together Vedic scholars, academics, researchers, educators, students, and enthusiasts to explore the relevance of Vedic knowledge in addressing global conflicts. Scholars from various countries participated wholeheartedly in every aspect of the conference. The event included enriching discussions, workshops, and roundtables that offered insight into Vedic wisdom, strategies and best practices in conflict resolution.

The conference commenced with a Vedic Puja ceremony performed by Shri Sree Aswath, a notable Vedic scholar and faculty member at the Hindu University of America (HUA). The inaugural session featured distinguished guest Shri Braham Ratan Aggarwal, the Founder and Former Chairman of HUA, who addressed the attendees.

The AMMWEC executives, Anila Ali, Soraya Deen, Zeba Zebunessa, and staff warmly welcomed the group of students from Germany and engaged in meaningful discussions about the importance of diversity and collaboration in today's world. The students were given an introduction about AMMWEC and had the opportunity to interact with members of the organization, including AMMWEC intern, Stella Hitch, gaining valuable insights into the work being done by AMMWEC to empower women and promote interfaith understanding. Stella, a high school student shared her story to being bullied at school for being Jewish and that everyone ahs a responsibility to stand up to hate.

The Youth Bridge project focuses on empowering young leaders to become agents of change in their communities. Through this project, Youth Bridge encourages diversity, creativity, and collaboration among youth, while also addressing issues such as hatred, discrimination, and radicalization. The visit from the young students from Munich, Germany was a testament to the success of this project and the impact it is having on young minds.

Anila Ali, the founder of AMMWEC, expressed her excitement about the visit, stating, "We are thrilled to have these young leaders from Germany visit us and be a part of our Youth Bridge project. It is heartening to see the enthusiasm and passion they have for promoting diversity and collaboration. “Azerbaijan’s attack,” the human rights NGO asserted, “combined with the blockade that preceded it, was designed to empty Nagorno Karabakh of its ancient population of Armenian Christians, and it succeeded. Of the nearly 120,000 Armenian Christians who lived in Nagorno Karabakh on September 19, 2023, only 14 now remain.”

“Rarely in modern history has an act of ethnic or religious cleansing been so complete,” the statement noted.

Speaking of the events of September 19, 2023, CSI recalled, “Civilians hid in their cellars as bombs fell on residential neighborhoods and schools where children were attending class. Entire villages fled the onslaught. Hospitals filled with wounded people for whom, due to Azerbaijan’s nine-month siege of the region, there was no medicine. Azerbaijani troops blocked the roads between villages, preventing locals from collecting their dead. Hundreds of people were killed in a fuel depot explosion, as they rushed to fill their cannisters with petrol they needed to evacuate their families.”

Christian Solidarity International noted that it had issued a genocide warning for Nagorno Karabakh on December 19, 2022, one week after Azerbaijan’s blockade began.

“We regret,” the statement continues, “that in the nine months that followed, none of the powers with interests in the South Caucasus took any action to avert this act of genocide. Both Russia and the United States, competing with each other for influence in the region, sought to win Azerbaijan’s favor.”

CSI noted that Azerbaijan has not faced any consequences for the forced exodus of Nagorno Karabakh’s Armenians. Instead, “even as Azerbaijan demolishes Armenian churches, graveyards, villages and civic sites across occupied Nagorno Karabakh, in defiance of orders from the International Court of Justice, Azerbaijan was chosen to host the United Nations’ annual climate change conference, COP29, this November.”

The organization also noted the regular high-level visits from American officials to Baku over the past year, and the American ambassador, Mark Libby’s, decision to tour the ethnically-cleansed town of Shushi in May.

While American and European diplomats claim that Armenia and Azerbaijan have “never been closer” to a peace agreement, CSI points out that over the past year, Azerbaijan has issued a series of “escalating demands for unilateral concessions,” all while its president, Ilham Aliyev, and its state institutions, promote the idea that the Republic of Armenia itself is “Western Azerbaijan.”

“The ethnic cleansing of Nagorno Karabakh was just the latest phase in an Armenian Genocide process that has been ongoing since the late 19th century,” CSI said. “It is increasingly clear that Azerbaijan and its ally Turkey are now preparing the next phase.”

The NGO urged “all people of good will” to support the right of Artsakh Armenians to return to their homeland to live in safety and freedom, and offered its support for the work of the Committee for the Defense of the Fundamental Rights of the People of Nagorno Karabakh, led by former Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian.

The organization also pledged to “campaign for Armenian hostages held by Azerbaijan, such as Ruben Vardanyan and Vicken Euljekjian.”

CSI’s statement concludes with a warning that “a peace built on genocide and the threat of further genocide will never bring stability or security to the Caucasus region.” It urges the international community “to build a durable peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, a peace based on trust and mutual respect for human rights. To do so, Azerbaijan’s allies must do what they have consistently refused to do for the past eight years – restrain Azerbaijan’s aggression, and uphold the rights of the Armenians of Nagorno Karabakh.”

Recently, “Caleb’s Journey” by Sidney P. Little was displayed on April 20th and 21st, 2024, at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books at the University of Southern California. It is one of the world’s most significant literary gatherings. This epic novel of historical fiction focuses on a man named Caleb, an elder Jewish and devout follower of the nascent Christian faith, from the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D to the rebirth of faith in Philadelphia, his first encounter with John the Baptist to the crucifixion of Jesus. It provides a vivid portrayal of the early Christian experience amidst the tumultuous backdrop of the Roman conquest.

“Caleb’s Journey” is the story of the life of a man who was born a Jew and personally watched Jesus from a distance before seeing Him crucified and buried. Soon after this event Caleb was converted to the Christian faith after he unknowingly walked with the risen Jesus for a short while on the road to Emmaus before Christ revealed His identity. Sidney P. Little’s book is an enduring story of perseverance, struggle, and faith written for Christians and lovers of history.

Caleb goes on to tell us of how he was captured by soldiers of Rome and because he spoke and understood their language he was used as an interpreter and therefore became a witness to the destruction of the Jewish temple in Jerusalem. His life was thrown into chaos, which led him to get separated from his grandson, Abram. Caleb and the other survivors were taken as prisoners.  Despite the devastation, Caleb clings to his faith, using his knowledge of the scriptures and to navigate the brutal politics and desperation of a city under siege. 

Sidney Phelps Little is a graduate of business management. He owned and ran his own printing and computer supply business until 1994. After selling that business, he flew as a contract flight instructor at Kirtland Flight Center at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque. During this time, he wrote One Step from Glory. Though the book is classified as a novel, it follows actual events during WWI.

China's World Heritage projects systematically showcase Chinese civilization

China joined the Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage in 1985 and is now the country with the second -largest number of World Heritage Sites. After nearly 40 years of development, China's World Heritage projects have begun to systematically represent Chinese civilization. This representation encompasses a range of historical periods, from prehistoric civilizations to various dynasties and modern times, as well as traditional belief systems, the cultural diversity of its multi-ethnic society, regional cultural diversity, and the great achievements of ancient engineering.

The Beijing Central Axis, added to the World Heritage List in 2024, is a masterpiece of China's ideal urban order. The process of nominating the Beijing Central Axis for World Heritage status is a successful example of value communication and international exchange. During this process, the value expressed in the application text for the Beijing Central Axis was not only understood and recognized by representatives from various countries on the World Heritage Committee, international expert consultants, and UNESCO officials, but the nomination effort also received their support.

In 2017, Gulangyu island in East China's Fujian Province, renowned for its varied architecture and multicultural history, was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The value of Gulangyu island emphasizes its presentation of extensive and in-depth exchanges between Chinese traditional culture, local culture and diverse foreign cultures in social life, architectural garden design and construction, artistic style, and modern technology. This serves as a concentrated expression of the exchange, mutual learning, and integration of human values in the coastal areas of East Asia and Southeast Asia during the early stages of globalization. 

As the world enters the second decade of the 21st century, various conflicts have created significant uncertainty. The value of Gulangyu island clearly exemplifies the inclusiveness of Chinese civilization and sets an example for mutual respect and dialogue among different civilizations today.

The impressive range of antiquities serves as a showcase for premier Egyptian, Greek, and Roman works, including pottery, marbles, bronzes and jewelry; as well as art and relics from Byzantine, Western Asiatic, Viking and other civilizations.

The mysteries of Ancient Egypt are embodied in an over-life-size Egyptian stone head of a pharaoh from the Ptolemaic Period, 332-30 BC. Likely from a monumental sphinx, the subject wears a royal nemes striped headdress with a prominent headband and the remains of a rearing uraeus (serpent) on the brow. The pharaoh has a somber expression and large, prominently-outlined, almond-shape eyes. The distinctive features are reminiscent of a granite sphinx head discovered at the Egyptian Delta site of Canopus, now housed in the Graeco-Roman Museum in Alexandria. The trail of ownership can be traced back to 1975 and a German private collection; with subsequent European ownership and family descent. Weighing a hefty 45.15kg (99lbs, 9oz) and presented on a custom display stand, it will convey with an academic report by Egyptologist Paul Whelan. Estimate: £40,000-£60,000 ($52,695-$79,040)

From ancient Rome, a bronze staff finial dating from the 2nd century AD is close to 12 inches in height and depicts a spread-winged eagle standing on an orb beneath a spectacular bust of the bearded god Serapis, his head surmounted by a corn modius. It was probably used atop a processional scepter or standard during the reign of Hadrian and is similar to examples in the collections of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and the St Louis Art Museum. Previously, it was held in a private collection in Germany in the 1980s and was last offered at auction by Christie’s New York in June 2012. It is entered in TimeLine’s sale with a £50,000-£70,000 ($65,935-$92,310) estimate.

Another sensational Roman survivor is the finely-carved Roman marble head of a young satyr dating to the late 1st to early 2nd century AD. With tousled curly hair and expressive features, including a mischievous smile with the tip of his tongue protruding to the right, it appears to have been derived from Hellenistic prototypes. It can be compared to the so-called “Young Centaur” signed by Aristeas and Papias, which was found at Tivoli in Hadrian’s Villa and now resides in the Capitoline Museum collection in Rome. TimeLine’s catalog provides an extensive list of book references and museum comparison examples. The line of provenance includes Christoph Bernoulli (1897-1981, Basel), who possibly acquired it from Münzen und Medaillen AG, Basel; thence by descent. Accompanied by an academic report by Dr Raffaele D’Amato, its auction estimate is £40,000-£60,000 ($52,695-$79,040).

A larger-than-life-size Roman bronze sandaled foot from the 2nd-3rd century AD is modeled in the round and was originally part of a monumental statue. It can be compared to similar examples seen in several reference books, including Bonfante’s The World of Roman Costume. It also calls to mind a statue at The British Museum that came from the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, and another, at the Cleveland Museum of Art, which is a possible portrayal of Emperor Marcus Aurelius in the guise of a simple itinerant philosopher. The ultimate conversation piece, the auction entry is poised to make tracks in the £30,000-£40,000 ($39,570-$52,695) estimate range.

A majestic South Asian artwork, “The Kelton” Gandharan head of a Bodhisattva is so named because it was owned for 37 years by California-based collector Richard Kelton (1929-2019). Three years after Mr Kelton’s passing, it was acquired by its next owner at Abell Auctions in Los Angeles. It subsequently passed by descent to its present owner. The half-round schist head depicting a Bodhisattva, probably Maitreya, dates to the 3rd-6th century AD. It is exquisitely carved and detailed with an arched brow, aquiline nose, neat moustache and full lips. Its eyes are heavily lidded, an urna is present on the forehead, and the subject’s curling locks are gathered into ushnisha. Similar works appear in Jongeward’s 2018 reference Buddhist Art of Gandhara: In the Ashmolean Museum. The auction example, which was exhibited at Frieze Masters 2023 in London, comes to auction with a pre-sale estimate of £15,000-£20,000 ($19,785-$26,380).

A special highlight of the six-day auction is an 87-lot offering of rarities from the collection of Britain’s best-known metal detectorist, Gordon Bailey. Born in wartime London, Bailey was dealing coins and antiques as a teenager from the East End’s famous Brick Lane Market and became an early pioneer of the treasure-hunting hobby after buying his first metal detector in 1968. Today, he is familiar to many hobbyists as the author of the Detector Finds series that helped in the identification of many British metal-detecting finds, ranging from medieval pilgrim ampullae and crossbow bolts to crotal bells and seal matrices. In the days before the availability of Internet search engines, these books, with hundreds of detailed illustrations covering all types of finds, were invaluable as reference works.

A top prize in the ancient jewelry category is a 1st century AD Roman agate cameo of Augustus, presented in a later mounting. The gold pendant frame is surrounded by emerald, sapphire and ruby cabochons, as well as clusters of pearls. It is marked “750” on verso, along with “B&G” – believed to be an upstate New York jeweler’s stamp – and an indeterminate third mark. With a total weight of 99 grams, it will convey with a scholarly report by Dr Ittai Gradel, who notes that the cameo is “of exquisite technical quality” and “has a close parallel in the Cabinet des Medailles, Paris.” This wonderful piece of jewelry was part of an early 20th-century New York collection, then was with Robert Haber Gallery in New York (1990), and later, became the property of Jean Clostre, Geneva, Switzerland. The auction estimate is £30,000-£40,000 ($39,570-$52,695).

Among the hundreds of rare and outstanding gold and silver coins, a golden choice is a 282-283 AD Carus AV Aureus, laureate, with a draped and cuirassed bust to the right on the obverse. The reverse shows Victory advancing to the right, holding a palm frond over her left shoulder and a wreath in her right hand. “SMA” is shown in the exergue. This well-provenanced coin, which has a weight of 5.02 grams, was previously auctioned at Hess-Divo AG, Auction 334, May 29, 2018; and Nomos AG, Auction 17, Oct. 26, 2028 (dealer’s ticket included with lot). TimeLine’s auction estimate is £20,000-£30,000 ($26,380-$39,579).

The many collectors of ancient pottery worldwide will find much to admire in a circa-520 BC Greek Attic lekythos. Its ovoid body displays a combat scene with three distinctively-garbed and helmeted hoplites with shields and weapons. A similar example may be seen in the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and in the Corpus Vasorum Antiquorum. The auction vessel was in a private southern Germany collection in the 1960s, and later with Paul-Francis Jacquier, Numismatique Antique, Münzen und Kunst der Antique. It was acquired by the present owner at the latter company’s September 13, 2013 auction and is now offered with a £25,000-£35,000 ($32,955-$46,135) estimate.

President Biden has acknowledged "America's failed approach to marijuana" but has so far failed to deliver on any meaningful reform. The Biden administration is touting their actions on October 6, 2022 when the president issued a general pardon for all previous crimes of simple cannabis possession in violation of federal law and the D.C. Code. In January 2024, the president expanded the pardon to cover offenses for cannabis use and simple possession. All of the crimes mentioned are simple misdemeanors and these moves by the White House have led to zero pardons for federal inmates doing time for non-violent cannabis crimes. Edwin Rubis is not the only prisoner who fits that description but his continued incarceration is a reminder of the half-steps taken by this administration when it comes to cannabis reform and his immediate release would signal the Democratic Party's commitment to future criminal justice reform.

Since he is not seeking re-election, President Biden has just over two months until Election Day and just over four months until a new president is sworn in on Inauguration Day 2025 to right what he calls "historic wrongs" and grant Edwin Rubis a full presidential pardon.

According to the United States Sentencing Commission, the average sentence for offenders convicted of rape was 178 months in 2022, or just under 15 years. Edwin Rubis is in his 27th year behind bars for conspiracy and distribution charges surrounding a plant that is now a legal commodity in a majority of the country.

As a son, a father, a brother, a human being, Edwin Rubis looks forward to putting his multiple college degrees to work as a guidance counselor upon his release. Every day he remains incarcerated just deepens the injustice of his sentence, and President Biden's complicity in it.

"It is time for our president to take action. Rhetoric is no longer effective at this late stage of the game," Rubis said in a January 2024 article in the New York Post.

Kweli published one of her short stories in May 2014 that became a chapter in Dennis-Benn’s Lambda Literary Award winning 2016 debut novel “Here Comes the Sun.” Her 2019 novel “Patsy,” became a New York Times Editors Choice, a Financial Times Critics Choice, and a Today Show Read with Jena Book Club selection. • Young adult literature wunderkind Jason Reynolds (“Long Way Down,” “Patina,” “Miles Morales: Spiderman”) was the keynote speaker during Kweli’s Color of Children’s Literature Conference at Teacher’s College, April 19 - 21.

Kweli’s 15th Anniversary Anthology will be published in Spring, 2025 and include short stories by each of the aforementioned authors and an introduction by National Book Award and MacArthur Genius Grant winner Edwidge Danticat. Danticat will close the 2024 Kweli International Literary Festival on September 30. Kweli hosts an annual Kweli Color of Children’s Literature Conference in the spring, a Kweli International Literary Festival in the summer, a year-long Kweli Fellowship Program for new and emerging BIPOC writers, publishes a quarterly journal, hosts a free in-person reading series that is open to the public, and a free virtual craft series: The Third Eye on IG LIVE.

Poets & Writers and Publishers Weekly magazines have regularly covered Kweli conferences, a testament to the quality of the programming and the brilliance and generosity of the participating authors. Still living in the fifth-floor walk-up where she founded Kweli and battling an autoimmune disease that has hospitalized her many times and requires her to use a walker and leg braces, Laura remains faithful to the life mission that grew out of a love of literature that helped her through a difficult childhood. After her mother got Laura and her six siblings library cards, books became her refuge - the Harlem native essentially lived at the George Bruce Library on West 125th Street.

Laura went to Stony Brook University, where she took a children’s literature class with poet/activist June Jordan. Jordan became a lifelong friend and mentor who taught Laura she was only limited by her dreams. Laura was accepted to medical school, but repeated hospitalizations would not allow her to complete her studies. The arts became Laura’s oxygen. As a teaching artist she created curriculums at after school programs in the community. The determined author of several books, including the picture books “A Windy Day,” “Rainbow Is Our Face,” and “Daughter’s Day Blues,” which took ten years to publish, Laura’s greatest thrill is giving would-be authors the opportunity to see their work receive the audience it deserves.

“There have been so many special moments over the past 15 years, but nothing compares to having an author hand me a signed copy of their debut published work as they tell me that I helped them find their voice and find the confidence to put their story on the page,” she said. “That gets me every time.”

Laura has made Kweli the go-to source for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color hoping to be published - and for the publishers looking for said work. Following the dissolution of a 40-year national conservative organization in May 2024, education leaders are proud to announce the launch of Best In Ed.

Best In Ed emerged from the absence of the Building Education for Students Together (BEST) initiative, which began in 2020 under the leadership of Laura Zorc, the former Executive Director of BEST at FreedomWorks. This initiative originally aimed to elevate parental choice and rights during the pandemic, addressing challenges like school closures and significant learning loss.

Quickly becoming one of FreedomWorks' most impactful programs, BEST demonstrated its ability to usher in a commitment to long-term solutions for transforming the K-12 education system. The new organization, Best In Ed, is positioned to carry on the vital work and will remain focused as a national leader in grassroots education advocacy, supported by a network of dedicated leaders across the country.

The Best team will concentrate on efforts they pioneered during the pandemic, including recruiting and training school board candidates while providing ongoing support once elected. The team is recognized for their in-depth professional development curriculum on the fundamentals and foundations of school board members, coupled with their 8-session course led by current and former school board members.
